Hi friends! Welcome to Lisa Jerald Photography. I'm so glad you've stopped by to check things out.

At the end of 2015 I bought by first "fancy" camera. I wanted to create and I wanted a hobby. I'll be honest, I hoped this hobby would turn into a career and over the years it has slowly evolved to just that.

My main career in life is being a mom and a wife and through the grace of God I have been able to stay home with my children since birth. Now that they are in school full time, photography allows me to keep the stay at home mom vibes going while bringing in some extra money. But making a living aside, capturing people truly gives me life. I'm not much of an extrovert, I'm somewhere in the middle and this is the perfect medium to being surrounded by people without being overwhelmed. It gives me a creative outlet. A way to express how I see the world and the people in it. And perhaps the biggest reason I love taking photos is because they capture a moment in time you can never get back. The tears of joy or sadness that come with looking back at photos past is a feeling that can't be replicated any other way. My mind is blown that I've had the honor to capture weddings, births, newborns, seniors and families. I'm even more honored that many of my clients consider me a friend. And that right there is what it's all about. Friendship, love, and capturing those memories for lifetimes to come.

I love creating real moments when I shoot and capturing those moments that gives you the "feels". There is nothing quite like feeling a photo, so I like to make you laugh, kiss, play, and run around.
